To help flatten any creases or bunching, you can try the following techniques: 1. Back Rolling: Roll the carpet out, then roll it back up in reverse with the backside up. Let it sit for a day or two, or until it flattens out. 2. Heavy Objects: Lay a piece of heavy furniture or objects on the affected areas for a day or two, or until it flattens out. If the corners are sticking up, curl them back and place heavy objects on the affected areas in the opposite direction. 3. Heat: As a last resort, place the rug over a cleared concrete or outdoor area during dry, sunny conditions. Allow the rug to absorb the sun's heat for up to two hours, or longer if needed. 4. Blow Dryer: If a large concrete patch with optimal sunlight is not accessible, flip the rug over and use a hair dryer on a medium setting to heat up the creases, holding it 7 to 12 inches away and moving it side to side.
